Metropolitan Museum of Art

No New York trip would be complete without a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  This trip was no exception.  Special Exhibits included:

 William Kentridge who did the graphics for the recent opera, "The Nose".

 Nelson Rockefeller and his commitment to art along with the story of his son Michael who died in New Guinea

Silla - Korea's Golden Kingdom

Jewels by JAR - some remarkable modern jewelry.

Julia Margaret photographs - took fantastic photographs in the 1850's - protraits

Worldwide Textile Trade - a history

Balthus - dogs and girls - both uf us thought his paintings of girls crossed the line.
