Power went out at 8pm. We had finished dinner and game playing. Around 11pm the wine subsided some so we vented outside to see the damage.
Power may not be returned for several days. We walked uptown (like many others in Lower Manhattan) to power at 40th street. We walked from 30th to 70th to Rose's friends apartment. Power is on as it internet.
Bus service starts at 5pm. Subway will take a long time to fix. Saltwater got into subway and the power circuits.
We have tickets to War Horse on Thursday - we'll see if its on or not.

Live from New York
Spending three weeks in New York City. For everyone worried about Hurricane Sally or Frankinstorm as it has been called, we are still alive. To be honest it has not rained yet and is rather warm. There is a bit of a wind
