For the second year in a row, we went to an Oz Farm dinner to benefit the Arena Theater. Last year was the "Go Digital, Go Dark campaign". This year the event is the raise money for necessary termite and dry rot work.
Gary and Allen picked us up. We skipped the farm tour as we did it last year. Also , we needed to rest some after the annual picnic as described in another Blog Post. The night started with some wonderful wine and hor d'oeuvers - eggplant chips and pizza with organic farm produce. A special vegetarian entree was prepared just for us thought it ended up that the main course was local fish which we could have eaten. it was a splendid evening with lots of nice people. Jim and Molly Hooper who own the Oz Farm and really wonderful with supporting the theater.
There was a picture of us all in the newspaper but we took no pictures that evening. Perhaps I'll try and paste it into this blog later.
