The Evergreen Cemetary operated by the Grange.  We plan a Spring workday and clean-up
Cypress tress on Highway 1 approaching Manchester from the South
Manchester - had a big store and a post office.  Population just over 400 - its own town.  We've always wondered if the Irish Beach residents are included in this population figure as its where our mail goes.
Lots of people take pictures of these uniquely cut trees - guess if you could point to a single landmark in Manchester - the trees is what people would remember
More pictures of the trees
Our fire department.  Gary is a volunteer fire fighter (or still in training).
The Manchester school.  Susan is a school board member
Our market/handware store.  Its full size in a town with only 400 - go figure
Our post office.  We're box 22

Sign to the Manchester State Park.  Its one of the parks to close due to the budget crisis in California

Alder Creek - where the San Andreas fault goes into the Pacific Ocean for the last time.  We live on the North American plate side.
View of Alder Creek as it flows towards ocean.  Nice valley and grazing land.  Last thing you see before our development in Irish Beach

Oscar night at the Point Arena Theater

To fill you all in.  The Point Arena Theater does an Oscar night.  Its free but is a funraiser from the drinks and food (as well as passing a hat around).  The event made over $1000 and was FUN.  Its fun to see the show in a full theater and there was added entainment during the ads.

OK - its not a real tux
Do you think the cap adds to the evening?
We're ready for the red carpet
Susan really did get dressed up
The Oscars is on the big screen - during the red carpet show there was champagne and appitizers
Towards the bar
This is Rufus - we seem to be on every baord with him (or almost)
