Double feature

Saw Silver Lining Playbook and The Impossibles Friday night.  Also went to Off the Hook for sushi.  Trying to see as many Oscar nominations as we can before Feb 24 - Oscar night

Buzz and Carol for dinner

Had a great Green Curry Dinner at our house tonight.  Wanted to thank Buzz for helping with the Manchester School wiring last Saturday plus its just fun having them over.  Many laughs and lots of good beer.

New neighbors to dinner

Had Mandy and John to dinner.  They moved in last Nov but have owned for years.  Made Pa Thai.  Had a great night learning about each other.  

Dinner and puzzle

Made fake lamb stew and took to Paula's.  Gary, Allen and Cornelia all joinec us.  Some could not tell it was fake  meat.  After dinner and drinking we stayed with Paula and started a puzzle until 1 am - but whats new with that?

Super Bowl Sunday

We made a quick run to Sacramento for Dianna and Pat's annual Super Bowl party on Sunday.  We bought three live crabs and some fresh goat cheese from Rebecca just before we started driving.  We started the morning with the monthly Grange Breakfast.  Then we drove non-stop, arriving about thirty minutes before the game.  Susan and I both won quarters in the football pool thought we were disappointed in the 49ers loss. 

We spent the night at Dianna and Pat's.  The next morning we took a walk along the river and visited.  Susan had a couple of routine medical tests on Monday noon, Gary ran to Costco while Susan had the tests.  And we both then went our favorite Asian market - S&B before returning home.  We stopped in Ukiah for some Thai Food and arrived back at around 9pm.

North Coast Brew

Tony came up connect new dedicated cables at Manchester School.  After we ended we went to Ft Bragg to the brewery where we had the 12 sampler.  Oh - so good.  On the way back be stopped at Bobby Beacons for a drink and to hear Bobby talk about gun control.

New connection at Manchester School - Thank you Tony

Our old neighbor Tony Duval came up and helped connect a new dedicated line for video conferencing and online training at the Manchester School.  The school recently received a grant.  Tony helping out saved lots of money so that the grant will reach further.  Thanks you Tony (and Richard and Buzz).

We went to the cove the first night and bought a couple crabs off the boat.  Tony had seafood for every meal.
